Bonnie Baxter Debut Show Review

Bonnie Baxter Live

Bonnie Baxter performing in front of a small crowd with video artist Chris Medina at The Northeast Kingndom Lounge in Bushwick on November 8th.  Here is what The Sky Report had to say:

“With a short, but intense set, Bonnie Baxter impressed the intimate crowd at NK Lounge with a menagerie of hallucinatory guitars, wafting vocals and experimental beats. Baxter’s crystalline voice has a distinctive, melancholy quality that seamlessly pulls you into the band’s haunting and languorous dreamscape of dark beauty. I was really taken with their delicate, but big sound and their astounding talent.” - Read Full Review from The Sky Report

Glasslands Gallery Looks Artsy

Sigmund Droid woke up the crowd on friday night with a racuous set.  The heavy handed set was the perfect opening treat for the Williamsburg crowd, who then later enjoyed melodic orchestrations by the talented Takka Takka and the heavy favorites The Albertans.   These photographs were taken at the show by photographer Josh Wehle.  To view the entire set please visit his flickr page.

The Albertans will be in New York promoting the release of their EP “Sex With an Angel.”  Visit their site to get further dates.
